May 3
Tuesday evening at the ballpark for game #2 with New Hampshire. There were reports of strong storms moving through the western part of the state, we started at 6:35 and got into the bottom of the ninth inning with no issues. Suddenly the wind shifted, the rain rolled in and we were delayed for twenty-seven minutes. Once the game resumed it took all of two minutes to finish it, the R-Phils suffering their second straight loss by a score of 7-2. Matt Rizzotti hit a solo home run and Carlos Rivero had an RBI hit but it wasn't enough to save starting pitcher Chris Kissock from the loss. The game ended at 9:40, we would have been done at 9:15 if not for the rain. We had about 2700 in the house but less than 100 were still around for the end. The ballclub will try to right the ship on Wednesday, we get started early at 11:05 on School Kids Day. Take care, thanks for reading.
