This day came and went with nary a drop of rain to be seen, that is virtually cause for euphoria in and of itself. In the evening we were at the ballpark as the Trenton Thunder visited for game #1 of a three-game set. It was 78 degrees when we got started at 6:35. Trenton won on this night 5-2, Cody Overbeck's two-run homer in the eighth inning was the lone offensive highlight for the R-Phils. Austin Hyatt started and took the loss, Jordan Ellis, Chris Kissock and Jake Diekman worked in relief. We had a little less than 3900 in attendance, the game ended in good time at 9:10. The series continues on Wednesday evening and wraps up on Thursday with an 11:05 school kids day game. Take care, thanks for reading.
