May 17
It rained hard in the early morning hours, for awhile it looked like the day might be another washout. In the afternoon the sun fought hard to break through the clouds, according to the radar we had a window of opportunity to play street hockey at the rink. I was there at 5:00 to get things cleaned up, we got started at 6:15. Don refereed the three West games with Derek and the 8:45 East game with Bebop, Devyn ran the clock. The weather wasn't entirely cooperative, we had some patchy mist here and three but nothing that threatened play. All things considered the night went well, I was home shortly before 10:00. The bottom line is it's four fewer games we have to worry about making up later on. The forecast for Wednesday is more of the same, who knows what might happen. As they say on television "stay tuned". Take care, thanks for reading.
