Friday night at Rossmere Stadium, the LCHS Crusaders were at home for a second consecutive week. Lebanon was the opponent for the Crusaders' Homecoming, two young ladies from the LCHS class of 2016 handled the halftime ceremonies over the PA. Quincy Clark's touchdown in the first quarter gave the Crusaders a 6-0 lead, a Lebanon TD and a successful PAT made it 7-6 for the visitors. Brian Downey ran for a score to put LCHS back ahead, Nick Corrigan's extra point brought the count to 13-7 at the quarter. Lebanon outscored the Crusaders 13-0 in the second quarter, at halftime it was 20-13. In the third quarter the Crusaders came alive, Downey and Clark each found the end zone for the second time to put LCHS up by seven. On the next Lebanon possession defensive lineman Peyton Snopek intercepted a pass and returned it for another TD to give the Crusaders a 34-20 advantage. Lebanon battled back in the fourth quarter but Clark's third TD on the evening salted away the Crusaders victory, the final score was 41-27. LCHS improves to 3-4 with three games to go, the one remaining home game is on November 6. The Royals began the ECHL regular season with a pair of weekend road games, they lost on Saturday and won on Sunday. The boys play a divisional game in Elmira on the 23rd, they host the Jackals in the home opener on the 24th.Take care, thanks for reading.
