November 14-16

Monday morning at the mall for lunch and a visit to the auto service center. One of my tires looked slightly under-inflated, I had them all checked just to be on the safe side. In the evening we were at the rink for one street hockey playoff game. The East Semifinals started on the 7th and continued on the 9th, one series required a deciding game on this night. The game went into double overtime but it was ended in the first minute of the second OT period. On Tuesday morning Jenny was in town on business, we had lunch and ran an errand during her break time. In the afternoon there was rain to the north and west of the county but we were not touched at all, at 5:00 we headed to Reservoir Park for West Semifinals. This was game #2 of each series, the games had been rained out on the previous Thursday. We had some light rain during the evening but nothing too severe, just enough to be a nuisance. Both of the game #1 winners prevailed on this night as well, the West Finals begin on Thursday the 17th. The rain came harder overnight and continued all day Wednesday, the entire day was a washout. The East Finals had been scheduled to start on this night but the rain put the whammy on that, the game was reset for Thursday so both Finals will start on the same day. The rain is supposed to be gone by the afternoon on Thursday with cooler temperatures to follow. Take care, thanks for reading.
