September 17-19

Quiet weekend save for a visit and lunch with Jenny on Saturday and a brief clean-up visit at the street hockey rink on Sunday. Monday was somewhat busier, in the morning I had a dental appointment (trust me, there are better ways to start a week), in late afternoon I had a reservation at the health campus (nothing serious, just something a guy my age should have checked periodically). All things went well, by 5:45 I was at the rink for the opening night of the Fall season. The East Division played on this night, they will play on Wednesdays as well. There are six teams in the division, each night features three games starting at 6:15. Don and Ron officiated, Wally ran the clock and with it all we were done by 9:00. The West Division makes its debut on Tuesday weather-permitting, there is talk of rain during the daylight hours. Take care, thanks for reading.
