Wednesday afternoon: back at the ballpark in Reading for game #2 with Harrisburg. It was an overcast day with the looming threat of showers and thunderstorms. The popular Phillie Phanatic was the main attraction as we got underway right on the dot at 7:05. There was some light rain before the game started, in the fourth inning it returned and picked up in intensity. We managed to play eight innings before the weather forced a halt to play at 9:45, the game was suspended with the score tied at 1-1. We'll pick it up right where we left off on Thursday at 6:05 with the regularly-scheduled game to follow. For the record we had better than 7400 in attendance but if they want to see the rest of the game they'll need to join us on Thursday. Jenny had talked about coming to this game to see the Phanatic but decided against it because of the weather forecast. As it turns out she made a good choice. Take care, thanks for reading.
