January 23-25

Friday night at McCaskey for a divisional matchup with Manheim Township. The night started with a JPM JV loss, the varsity game was a study in abject frustration. We carried a five-point lead into the final quarter, in the last period MT outscored us by eleven and rallied to win 68-62. The usual suspects all hit double figures, DeMere Salisbery had 20, Amir Thompson-Hanson scored 17 and Jaloney Porter had 13 but there was little support underneath. It's a very costly loss that knocks the league record down to 5-3, overall the club stands at 9-9. The boys have off until Thursday the 29th when we play at home versus Penn Manor. Had lunch in Quarryville on Saturday with Jenny and her mother, when I came back to town I settled in for the rest of the weekend. There was talk of a major weather event for Sunday and the forecast was spot on, it moved in overnight and stayed most of the day. When I awakened in the morning it was WHITE outside, it's a good thing I had nothing on my schedule because there was no way I was getting to the car or even off my front porch. Take care, thanks for reading.
