The incredibly uncomfortable weather continues to rage on, daytime temperatures have consistently been in the 90s. Monday night softball at Garrett Park in Willow Street, Kelly's played a doubleheader and split it with a win over Akatsuki and a loss to the Silver Bullets. On Tuesday there was just one game on the schedule, Peach Bottom led Memorial 4-1 in the fourth inning when a fast-moving storm blew through and ended the evening prematurely. On Wednesday morning Jenny and her mother had an appointment in Willow Street, as is per usual I took them home with a stop for lunch along the way. Scheduled makeup games in the evening at Garrett Park never got started, another storm remarkably similar to Tuesday's downpour hit about thirty minutes before game time and wiped out the playing field. There are only a handful of games left on the schedule, right now the plan is for playoffs to begin on the 24th but everything is at the mercy of the weather. Take care, thanks for reading.
