The last week of March was completely bereft of any notable athletic activities. Had my income tax return prepared on Monday, there's no point in waiting any longer than necessary because they're going to get you one way or another. Jenny had an appointment in Willow Street on Thursday morning, the access van took her there and I brought her home. We did our lunch date on that day and on Saturday as usual, on Sunday the month ended quietly with the Easter holiday. I was with Jenny and her mother for supper, Helen made ham and scalloped potatoes with broccoli plus chocolate ice cream pie with whipped cream for dessert. Jenny's older sister Carol lives in the same complex (different building), she was there as well since she joins her mother and sister for weekend supper on a regular basis. I was there for about three hours myself and did not go home hungry. The Royals played the front leg of their six-game road trip during the week and went 1-2, three games remain during the first week of April before the club returns home on April 12.
