Monday morning at the mall began the week in the accustomed manner, on Tuesday morning my mother had a eye doctor appointment at the health campus. Snow was in the forecast with arctic-like temperatures, while we were out and about the precipitation arrived. It looked like someone had shaken one of those souvenir snow globes you buy in a gift shop, the wind had the snow swirling around in a way that might be considered picturesque except for the fact that I hate snow. In early afternoon it was announced that the basketball game at home versus Ephrata had been postponed and rescheduled for Wednesday evening. That leaves me out since the Royals are at home, my next game would be on Friday the 1st at home with Cedar Crest. By early evening the snow was over and the system had moved on but outdoor conditions were a mess, between the snowfall and the falling temperatures it was just as well the game had been called.
