October 18-19

Wednesday morning lunch as usual with Jenny, on Thursday we were at the rink for night #7 of dek hockey. Winners on this night were the Riot over the Pub Dawgs, the Steamers over the Misfits, the Owls over the Kings and the UniLords over the Hammerheads. Every team in the league has played seven games with seven to go, the second half starts on Monday the 23rd with the rematches from opening night. The season started two weeks later than planned because of the rink repairs, we scheduled two three-game weeks in an effort to catch up. One of those is already in the books, the week of the 23rd is the other. The regular season is set to end on November 9 with playoffs to follow and this is the time of year when weather issues can be a concern. So far we've been very lucky, let's keep it that way.
