April 26-27

Had my usual lunch visit with Jenny on Wednesday, the gloomy weather from Tuesday had long since moved on and temperatures were in the 60s. On Thursday night we were back at Reservoir Park for the start (and end) of the season's second week. The Hammerheads beat the Owls via overtime shootout, the Riot defeated the Kings, the Misfits took down the Pub Dawgs and the Steamers prevailed over the UniLords. Every club has played three games with a three-game week looming thanks to the postponements on the 25th, we play those on Monday the 1st with the regularly scheduled dates following on the 2nd and 4th.
