April 16
Tuesday night at the rink for street hockey, the Midwest division made its season debut. As a rule Tuesdays will feature three games as well, two from the Midwest and one East game. The man who was injured on Monday was there, he said he had two broken ribs (amazing he was even present under the circumstances). In the opener the Dek Dawgs beat the Lancaster Amvets, the second game saw the Killbots defeat Yorgo's and in the East game the UniLords stayed unbeaten with a win over the 915 Cafe. Ron refereed with Jonny Gerber, Wally ran the clock. We started at 6:30 (the usual three-game night starting time) and ended shortly after 9:00. On Wednesday we'll have four games as all three divisions will be represented, Wednesdays this season will be the busiest night of the week. Take care, thanks for reading.
